This morning I had the privilege to get entertained by trendwatcher Adjiedj Bakas He made me laugh and cry almost at the same time with his unconventional performance. Yes, it's true. W're in deep shit (not all of us, but quit a few). And no, this is no reason to get depressed. 'Cause crises is needed to make the next step forward and to make our world in the end a better place to live. He reminded me that in the last 200 years we had five major depressions and sometimes a lot of blood was spilled. And just look around: aren't we still here and consuming as we've never done before?
Ofcourse it was all baloney but I admit that he mixed facts and nonsens cleaverly so his performance was rather convincing. It's in times like these that all kind of gurus come in handy to bring solace to the ones that are desperated. Since I figured out this world is not what they say it is (Parents, teachers, politicians, preachers and the like.) I feel released. It's up to me to make the best of my life so I've learned to be cautious in choosing my gurus.
Like a clever guy wrote "Read the bible, read te quoran and 'das capital', but think yourself" or so. Life it self has no meaning but fortunately we're able to use the same instruments that we use for surviving (who's friend and who's foe?) for seeing it as overwhelming beautiful. Yes, choose for what you think is beautiful and worth living for. And let's hope that this is not in conflict with the law and common sense.
